The Wash Guys story started back in 2013 when founder Tommy got into the mobile wash business. From washing houses to scrubbing down semis and fleet trucks, he spent years putting in the work, learning the trade, and trying just about every soap he could get his hands on.
The problem was, nothing quite checked all the boxes.
Tommy wanted something that worked hard, was cost-effective, and delivered results without relying on harsh acids commonly used in fleet washing. So instead of settling for what was already out there, he decided to come up with something better. After years of trial and error, and plenty of dirty trucks, a solution was developed for everyday fleet washing. And it worked.
People noticed.
Customers would watch the trucks being washed, see the finished product, and ask the same question: “What are you using? That stuff works.”
For a while, Tommy kept the answer pretty close to the vest. It was his secret weapon in the mobile wash industry. But eventually, friends and family started getting their hands on it. Then they wanted more. Before long, people were telling him the same thing: “Put a label on it and sell it.”
So, that’s exactly what he did.
The name was easy. The Wash Guys. Because that’s who we are. We aren’t a company that created a soap and then tried to figure out how to wash trucks with it. We’re wash guys who created a soap because we knew there had to be a better way.
Today, The Wash Guys is proud to be the Home of the Trucker’s Paradise, where performance meets shine. Our products are built from real-world experience and made for people who expect their equipment and their soap to work as hard as they do. Behind the business, Tommy is still a hardworking dad and blue-collar guy who knows what it means to put in long days, get your hands dirty, and take pride in a job done right.
